White Russian Recipes

What’s up, homeboy! We’re coming at you with Jeff Lebowski’s absolute favorite cocktail. Yeah, that’s right. We’re talking White Russians. Or as The Dude sometimes calls them, “Caucasians.” White Russian drinks are a quick and easy vodka cocktail, which is always welcome here at Tipsy Bartender. Whether you’re craving a classic White Russian or living on the wild side with a super cool variation, we have a great White Russian recipe for everyone.

Wait, what’s even in it?

We’re glad you asked! Technically, the Black Russian is the original drink. It’s super easy as a two-ingredient vodka cocktail because you just pour vodka and coffee liqueur over ice. Stir it gently, maybe as you would a lover. But it becomes a White Russian when you add in milk or cream. So a classic White Russian recipe would be cream, vodka, and coffee liqueur. This is Tipsy Bartender though, so of course we have some sick af variations for you to enjoy.

Heck yeah! What kind of variations do you have for me?

The world is your oyster, so you can do whatever you want with your White Russian drinks. And if you end up making something crazy that you want to share with the world, definitely let us know your White Russian recipe! But of course we have suggestions because we love you. For all our Ashleighs and Hannahs, we have our Pumpkin Spice Russian. Pumpkin spice can -- and should -- be enjoyed all year, so whip up a few of these bad boys. It’s really easy with vodka, coffee liqueur, and pumpkin spice coffee creamer. But if you’re more into chocolate, we have a Chocolate Russian recipe too. Surprise! It may not be what you might think. Pour chocolate syrup into your glass and top it off with chocolate vodka, coffee liqueur, and half & half.
