Barbados Surprise

This here is the Barbados Surprise, and if there’s anything shocking about this Caribbean-themed drink it’s how crazy beautiful it is. The Barbados Surprise combines grenadine, orange juice, rum, and Blue Curaçao, and is so pretty you’ll want to put a ring (or maybe an orange slice) on it.

BARBADOS SURPRISE
1/2 oz. (15ml) Grenadine
2 oz. (60ml) Orange Juice
2 oz. (60ml) Rum
1/2 oz. (15ml) Blue Curaçao

PREPARATION
1. Drizzle grenadine in the base of your glass.
2. Use a bar spoon to carefully drop in ice, fill the glass.
3. Use the barspoon again to layer on orange juice. Set aside.
4. In a different glass or container, combine rum and blue curaçao. Stir well.
5. Use the barspoon once more to float on the blue layer over the orange juice.
6. Garnish with an orange wheel.
