The Blue Coconut Margarita is another crazy-gorgeous twist on the classic cocktail that'll have you climbing palm trees in no time. This fresh, chilled treat of a drink combines tequila, blue curaçao, lime juice, and cream of coconut. The glass is rimmed with coconut shavings for a little extra tinkle of crunchy sweetness.
BLUE COCONUT MARGARITA
1 oz. (30ml) Tequila
1 oz. (30ml) Blue Curaçao
1/2 oz. (15ml) Lime Juice
1 oz. (30ml) Cream of Coconut
Rim: Coconut Shavings
Garnish: Lime Wheel
PREPARATION
1. Rim the edge of your glass using coconut shavings. Set aside.
2. In a blender with ice, combine tequila, blue curaçao, lime juice, and cream of coconut. Blend thoroughly until smooth.
3. Pour mix into rimmed glass and garnish with a lime wheel.
