The Cody's Old Fashion is one of those relatively simple mixology drinks that even novices can get right without much practice. This tasty variation on the classic Old Fashioned combines Whistlepig Rye Whiskey, simple syrup, angostura bitters, and orange zest for a smooth, citrusy whiskey cocktail that pro and amateur bartenders will both love.
CODY’S OLD FASHIONED
2 oz. (60ml) Whistlepig Rye Whiskey
¼ oz. (7ml) Simple Syrup
3 dashes Angostura Bitters
Orange Zest
PREPARATION
1. Combine whiskey, angostura bitters, and simple syrup in a mixing glass and stir with ice.
2. Strain mix into a rocks glass over ice.
3. Zest and drop in an orange peel for garnish.
DRINK RESPONSIBLY!
