This Cran Gin-ger cocktail is a hardcore mixology drink that all you pros will love. This little masterpiece cocktail mixes gin, "cran juice," sugar, lemon juice, Aperol, angostura bitters, and Absinthe Rinse in a concoction that has so many surprise flavors you'll taste something new every sip.
1 ½ oz. (45ml) Gin
1 ½ oz. (45ml) Cran Juice [.5 lbs cranberries, 1 cup sugar, 3 cups water, ginger root]
2 tsp Sugar
1 oz. (30ml) Lemon Juice
½ oz. (15ml) Aperol
1 dash Angostura Bitters
Garnish: Rosemary Sprig, Cranberry Skewer
1. Combine gin, Aperol, cran ginger juice, angostura bitters, lemon juice, sugar, and rosemary in a shaker with ice and shake well.
2. Ignite some Absinthe in your serving glass, dispose, and pour the mix over.
3. Garnish with a rosemary sprig and cranberries.
