The Island Hookup may look like a simple yellow cocktail, but it's still one of the best-tasting tropical rum mixed drinks you can make. This little tongue-pleasing rum cocktail combines spiced rum, lime juice, passion fruit purée, falernum, and maraschino liqueur, and is garnished with pineapple leaves and a cherry skewer for some extra beachy drink goodness.
ISLAND HOOKUP
1 1/2 oz. (45ml) Spiced Rum
3/4 oz. (22.5ml) Lime Juice
3/4 oz. (22.5ml) Passion Fruit Puree
1/2 oz. (15ml) Falernum
1/4 Tsp Maraschino Liqueur
Garnish: Pineapple Leaves/Cherry Skewer
PREPARATION
1. Combine all ingredients in an ice filled shaking glass and shake well.
2. Strain mix into martini glass and garnish with a pineapple leaves/cherry skewer.
DRINK RESPONSIBLY!
