Jalapeño Salty Dog

As far as jalapeño cocktails are concerned, it's hard to beat this Jalapeño Salty Dog. This awesome spicy vodka cocktail combines grapefruit juice, simple syrup, jalapeño slices, and vodka, and is rimmed with salt to amp up some of those classic margarita flavors. JALAPEÑO SALTY DOG 1 1/2 oz. (45ml) Vodka 4 oz. (120ml) Grapefruit Juice Splash Simple Syrup Jalapeño Slices Garnish: Salt Rim/Jalapeño Slice PREPARATION 1. Rim edge of serving glass in salt. Set aside. 2. Drop jalapeño slices into base of glass and add a splash of simple syrup. Muddle well. 3. Add ice, vodka and freshly squeezed grapefruit juice to glass and shake well. 4. Strain mix into prepared glass and garnish with jalapeño. DRINK RESPONSIBLY!
