Mixologist Brian Klemm does it again with this Japanese Whiskey Smash cocktail. This crazy, yet simple whiskey mixology drink combines whiskey, simple syrup, mint leaves, lemon wedges, and sugar, and somehow manages to deliver a new flavor to taste with every sip.
JAPANESE WHISKEY SMASH
2 oz. (60ml) Whiskey
¾ oz. (22ml) Simple Syrup
Mint leaves
Lemon Wedges
Sugar Cube
Garnish: Lemon Peel, Mint
PREPARATION
1. In a shaking glass, muddle mint leaves, lemon quarters, and a sugar cube.
2. Add simple syrup, sugar, whiskey, and stir.
3. Add ice and shake well.
4. Strain mix into a glass over ice and garnish with a mint sprig and a lemon peel.
DRINK RESPONSIBLY!
